UEI-Technology is seeking Information Security Analyst to join its’ Cyber Security team. This position is critical to the day to day functions of the cyber security team and reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Job Description

Attend weekly design meetings in support of Enterprise Architecture to provide security consultation on projects aimed at new solutions, or solution refresh.

Liaison with internal IT outsourced teams. • Liaison with customer teams as appropriate

On time, on budget delivery of contractual obligations to customer

Act as the "Process Owner” for one or more key processes / programs:

Continuous improvement of deliverables, work products and contractual obligations.

Responsibilities:

  • Extensive experience engineering secure, and complex datacenter as well as hybrid cloud environment projects.
  • Understanding of the NIST 800-53 controls, OWASP Web Application Hardening principles, and CIS benchmarks.
  • Experience in securing Amazon Web Services & Azure tenants in the commercial and government cloud.
  • Able to identify and analyze issues and gather information to determine causes and possible solutions.
  • Is a proven innovator and creative problem-solver.
  • Navigates ambiguity and exercises a moderate degree of autonomy in decision making.
  • Demonstrates a "learning agility” to remain current in subject matter expertise.
  • Finds common ground and viable solutions to complex problems in a compelling manner while maintaining a professional composure.
  • Influences across a diverse discipline in a collaborative, risk aware manner.
  • Develops and implements security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse systems environments.
  • Reviews the development, testing, and implementation of security plans, products, and control techniques.
  • Investigates and recommends appropriate corrective actions for data security incidents.
  • Provides security consulting and project management services on highly complex information security projects and issues.
  • Identifies security risks to the organization and ensures that appropriate data security procedures and products are implemented.
  • Maintains an awareness of security policies and government regulations pertaining to information security.
  • Identifies regulatory changes that will affect information security policy, standards, and procedures and recommends appropriate changes.
  • Leads and directs less experienced staff.
  • 7+ years of information security administration experience.

Additional Job Details:

  • Experience with governance related reporting and support of maturity assessment, business continuity, and cyber resilience architecture.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as metric analysis, excel macro and pivot tables preferred.
