Job Description

UEI-Technology is seeking a strong leader in the security operations field that can develop an integrated end-to-end operations team. The candidate would lead cross team initiatives and define cyber fusion processes to connect teams to deliver on the same mission. Strong influencing skills and a desire to see the big picture to drive change are essential skillsets to be successful in the role. The Cyber Defense Integration Director is also responsible for measuring overall program maturity against the NIST maturity framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of key cyber fusion processes between operations teams
  • Identify and drive key initiatives across teams aligned to the NIST maturity framework
  • Define and lead a Cyber Defense metrics program to improve maturity aligned to NIST and to maintain health over operations
  • Build a process to drive continuous improvement based on post incident reviews, red team engagements, and war game exercises
  • Define integration roadmaps for Cyber Defense to support mergers, divestitures, and acquisitions
  • Build a process to ensure alignment between operations strategy and sourcing and finance with quarterly updates

Education and Experience:

  • 8+ years supporting security operations teams (intel, incident response, detection, program support)
  • 3+ years leadership experience
  • 5+ years experience in leading cross team programs
  • Experience in supporting finance and contract renewals
  • Knowledge of the NIST maturity framework
  • Exposure to cyber defense processes and technology stack
  • Knowledge of cyber security threats
  • Strong influencing skills
